Wuchang Stadium
Wuchang Stadium, situated at Yuemachang of Wuchang, is the public sports facility in the charge of Hubei Commission for Physical
Culture and Sports. It is also a place for the
sports activities of the nearby factories and schools. It became the training
base since 1978 for players in track and field, basketball, volleyball,
badminton, table-tennis, and weight-lifting.
Xinhua Road
Stadium, Hankou
It situated
at Xinhua Road
of Hankou. Built in April 1955, it is the earliest
and largest stadium in Wuhan. With an
area of 135 mu and a total
floorage of 16,982 sq. meters, it has 21 floors of concrete planks with a
seating capacity of 30,000 spectators.

Wuhan Youth Palace Water World
It is the first large-scale cultural and entertainment water facility
in Wuhan city. With a total investment of RMB 20,000,000, it
occupies an area of 2,200 sq. meters, including water area of 8,000 sq.
meters which is divided into several parts as drifting-circling river, ocean
wave pool, high-rack combined slideways, and
sporting pool for children, sporting pool for adults and large massage pool.

Wuhan Blue Sky Water-Sporting Paradise
It is
located at Baofeng Road
of Jiefang Avenue,
is the socially-funded sports facility. Construction lasted from 1996 to
July 1998 with a total investment of RMB 3,800,000. With a total floorage of
4000 sq. meters, it is the largest indoor water-sporting facility with
constant temperature in Wuhan.
Liujiaotin New Stadium
It is a
new Stadium completed in June 2000 and is the largest overhead stadium in
Wuhan.
It is a place for the training of shooting, wrestling, weight-lifting,
martial arts, chess and cards, etc.
