We have just arrived back home after our wonderful trip to your
beautiful country. I just wanted to tell you what an excellent holiday
we had, and to thank you all for organising such a wonderful time for
us. The whole trip went without any problem, and the organisation,
trips, accommodation, and food were all first class.
In particular I would like to say thank you to the two tour guides,
Jennifer in Beijing and Shirley is Xian. These two girls were most
patient and helpful, they are a credit to your company and to their
parents. Please pass on my thanks to them. Also tell them that if they
ever wish to visit the UK they would be most welcome to stay as guests
at our house, and we would be delighted to show them around the UK.
Once again thank you for making our stay in China so memorable.

good job of being flexible when we changed our plans due to the SARS
epidemic. When we wanted to change from May to August, you accommodated us

1) How did you enjoy your Tour? Which part of the tour you enjoyed the most?
We enjoyed both of our tours. We had very good guides and drivers. We really
liked the dedication to service of Linjue in Xian. She really went out of
her way to help us have a good visit and she really helped us on some flight
plans we had with Hainan Airlines. We enjoyed the Great Wall and the
Terracotta Soldiers the best. We also enjoyed the Hutong tour.
2) How was the hotel we selected? What facilities you enjoyed?
We like both of the hotels. Jiangiou Garden in Beijing was very clean and
nice. The Jiangiou in Xian had very nice water ponds around it.
3) Are you happy with our tour guide and the tour arrangements? What can we
do to make it better?
Tour guides were very good. They did a great job of showing us around. We
especially liked Linjue in Xian who took extra steps to help us with
airplane tickets.
3) How was the food? Do you enjoy your meals?
The food was delicious. We really enjoyed our meals.
5) Are you comfortable with us during your tour reservation & prior to
taking the tour? What do you think we can do to make the reservation easier
and make you more comfortable to reserve the tour with us? Is there any area
we should improve upon in the tour reservation process?
Would you recommend our services to your friends, relatives and business
associates.
I would recommend Oriental Travel to my friends etc.. I thought the
reservation process was easy (except that it is hard to fax sometimes, so I
am not sure why you cannot take a credit card over the
telephone). I would use you again.
I would like to see more choice in the factory tours, so that we do not go
to a factory that we are not interested in.

We really enjoyed the tour and extended our stay in Beijing by two days
to see some more of the great wall and the city centre.
The selected hotels were very nice, especially the one in Beijing.
The breakfasts were very good as there was lots of variety. The lunches
and evening meals were nice but slightly repetitive. We would have liked
a western style meal more often. The tung dynasty meal was delicious and
the show was excellent.
Yes - we already have recommended your services to our friends and relatives.
We felt that more could be squeezed into the tour. We were taken to a
number of shops (pearl, silk etc) both in Beijing and Xian but would have
much preferred to see more sights - we left the ming tombs feeling as
though we hadn't really seen anything.
The service levels were very good and the organisation made the trip very
enjoyable.
