As I mentioned on the phone, we had a very fun time. I know it was a challenge to make all of the arrangements on short notice. We appreciate the personal attention we received from you and each of the tour guides on the trip. The tour guides were flexible in meeting the needs of our family with young children. It seemed that someone always had to go to the restroom. At times we also went slower to let the kids do a little more exploring (fly a kite on the Great Wall of China, eat an ice cream cone, explore the rocks at the Beijing parks, etc.) so that they could do the things that were fun for them. At the end of the stay in Beijing, the tour guide was nice enough to exchange a lunch at the normal restaurant for a lunch at McDonald's, which was a hit. The food was excellent and plentiful. We always had plenty left over, mostly because the kids don't eat as much as adults. We were pleased with the quality of the hotels. Our only concern was that none of the hotels offered adjoining rooms with inside connecting doors so that we can keep the family together. This meant that my wife and I had to split up and sleep apart each night. This is a common feature in hotels in the US. We were pleased that we were always able to get rooms next to each other. Since I have not worked with your agency before, I was a little worried how the trip would turn out. The information contained on your website helped alleviate some of my fears. Based on our happy experience, I will be sure to recommend your agency to my family and friends that may be interested in touring China.
