My husband and I had a wonderful trip in Beijing. As this is our first time in Beijing, we were extremely happy to be met by our tour guide at the airport. At first we were concerned about booking a tour for just two of us but it worked out very well. The driver was friendly and accommodating. Our tour guide, Jennifer, was wonderful. She has excellent command of the English language and is extremely well versed in the history of China. The places our tour guide took us to eat were very good.

Thank you for your note at the hotel welcoming us to Beijing. As for the hotel, Gloria Plaza Hotel, it was okay. We did not have much luck there. We had to switch rooms due to water leaking from the upstairs bathroom into ours and the staff in the reception area were frustrating to talk to as their English is very limited...

I guess the only thing I see that needs an improvement on is the hotel part.

Excluding the hotel part, I would rate this trip a 9 out of 10. I would definitely recommend Oriental travels to my friends.

We had a great trip and it was very enjoyable.
Novotel Peace hotel was great. Very good location and excellent service. We also liked the service in their restaurants. When we arrived, they were giving us a room with the twin beds. As our request to you before, we had asked for a double bed. With the help of our tour guide, a proof of your e-mail to me and my wife's perseverance, they upgraded our room to the executive floor. It was good to have a large room with a king size bed.

 
The tour guide, Stella Yu was very helpful and she tried her best to make our stay very enjoyable. On the first day, we could not proceed with our tour and she re-organized the things according to our convenience. Our main contact was the tour guide and the driver. They were very helpful. Most of the people were friendly and helpful.

We would recommend your services to our friends and relatives. Again, thank you for everything.
