The oldest and one of the finest hotel in Hong Kong, The Peninsula was built in 1928 when travellers took weeks to reach Hong Kong by boat. The Peninsula Spa comprises a pool, health club and beauty and hairdressing salons. The swimming pool has been designed to offer swimmers uninterrupted views of the Hong Kong skyline, whilst a retractable glass screen can be closed to allow year-round use. The pool area is linked to a sun-terrace and health club, and covers an area of approximately 1,600 sq m, featuring state-of the-art exercise equipment, jacuzzis, saunas, steam room, message room and other facilities.
