The Li Nationality The Li Nationality is mainly distributed in Hainan Province. The population is 1.111 million. The Li Natiionality calls itself "Xiao" and "Ben Di" etc. Its origin was from the branch "Luo Yue" of ancient "Bai Yue". The Li Nationality has its own language which belongs to Chinese-Tibetan language family. The Li Nationality mainly goes in for agriculture, like paddy rice and maize.
