The Ewenki Nationality
  There are about 26,000 Ewenki people in China. Most of them live in the Inner Nongolia Autonomous Region and Heihongjiang Province.

The Ewenki people used to be called Tonggusi. Their history can be traced back to the Northern Wei Dynasty (386AD-534AD).

Their language belongs to the Manchu-Tungusic group of the Altai language family. It has no written form.

Agriculture and hunting are their mainstay.
