China People

The Jing Nationality
There are about 18,000 Jing people in China. Most of them live in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

Their ancestors migrated from Vietnam after the 15th century.

Jing people have their own language, but most of them read and write the Hans characters because they have lived with Han People for a long time. They speak the Cantonese dialect.

Fishing and agriculture are their main occupation. Their chief farm products include rice, sweet potatoes, peanuts, and corns.
