Chinese Export commodities Fair

The Fair, comprehensive in nature, has won its renown of “China’s No.1 Fair” for the longest history, the highest level, the largest scale, the most complete exhibit variety, the biggest buyer attendance, the broadest buyer distribution, the greatest business turnover, and the best credit standing in China.

Forty-eight Trading Delegations, being composed of thousands of China's best foreign trade corporations (enterprises) with good credibility and sound financial capabilities, take part in the Fair, including foreign trade companies, factories, scientific research institutions, foreign invested enterprises, wholly foreign-owned enterprises, private enterprises, etc.

Besides traditional way of negotiating against samples, the Fair holds Canton Fair online. The Fair leans to export trade, though import business is also done here. Apart from the above-mentioned, various types of business activities such as economic and technical co-operations and exchanges, commodity inspection, insurance, transportation, advertising, consultation, etc. are also carried out in flexible ways. Business people from all over the world are gathering in Guangzhou, exchanging business information and developing friendship.
　

Canton Fair Guangzhou Hotels

During the Canton Fair, about over 110,000 foreign guests and 150,000 Chinese exhibitors are expected to visit Guangzhou. Hotel reservation will be a problem. If you want to attend the fair, please be prepared in advance. Hotels in close proximity to the Fair location is expected to be fully occupied.

Registration

Buyers should register for Buyer Cards before entering the Fair Complex. Buyer Card is valid admission to the Fair at both complexes. Please keep it well as exhibitors will not bargain with visitors without the Buyer Cards.

Registration Venues

Buyer Card is the only official admission to the Fair and is available at China Import and Export Fair Complex. However, to save your time and make the registration easier, we now set 35 Overseas Buyers’ Registration Office at appointed hotels. And, we strongly suggest you to get Canton Fair entry badge in these 35 hotels, considering the registration peak hour at China Import and Export Fair Complex. Definitely, it is the best way for you also, for the buyers who stay near these areas, please register in hotels too.

For those without Invitation, 300 RMB /day plus another 30 RMB/card as service fee must be paid besides presenting requested document. Only one local representative is allowed for each overseas company and must be accompanied and signature-confirmed by buyers of relative overseas company)

Note:

  1. Personal documents include: Hong Kong / Macao Home-return Permit or I.D. Card, Taiwan Compatriot Travel Certificate, Overseas Passport ，valid overseas residence certificate or a Chinese passport with the valid overseas employment visa valid for over one year.
  2. The personal photo is 5cm X 4cm.

Invitation Application

Canton Fair invites overseas buyers by two kinds of Invitation, one is called E-invitation and the other is Paper Invitation Card.

With the Invitation, overseas buyers could:

  • Apply for Visa to China.
  • Get registered and free entry badge to the Fair.

    • If any questions, kindly approach Foreign Liaison Department, China Foreign Trade Centre for help.

    　Visa Application

    For visa to China, please apply to the Embassy or Consulate General of P.R.China with the invitation issued by the Canton Fair to overseas buyers. Please be informed that:
    1. Please apply visa to China at your country or regular residence place before arriving in China. (Missions   Overseas)
    2. Buyers who need to leave Mainland China and come back again to Guangzhou during the Canton Fair may apply for multi-entry visa. If necessary, please contact the Division of Aliens and Exit-Entry Administration of Guangzhou Municipal Public Security Bureau (Add: No.155 Jie Fang Nan Road, Guangzhou).
    3. Fair visitors can also entrust the visa application to China Travel Service (Hong Kong) Ltd. (Add: 1/F., Alpha House, 27-33 Nathan Rd., Kowloon, Hong Kong.  Tel: 852-2315 7150, Fax: 852-2315 7292).
