Located in the eastern part of Guangdong Province, Chaozhou City is a famous national cultural and historic city. Situated at the northern part of the Hanjiang River Delta, Chaozou borders Fujian Province in the east, links with Shantou in the south, neighbors Jieyang in the west, connects with Meizhou in the north, and is close to the South China Sea. With a total area of 3,613.9 square kilometers, Chaozhou has a population of 2.386 million.
