Shaoxing is fast to Hangzhou, Shanghai, and Ningbo through Shanghai-Hangzhou-Ningbo Expressway or Shanghai-Hangzhou-Ningbo Railway. Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal also runs across the city.
