The hometown of Li Bai is situated at Jiangyou City, Sichuan Province, 170 kilometers from Chengdu. It is located at the foot of a hill and beside a stream with picturesque scenery, where Li
Bai, the great poet of the Tang dynasty, spent his boyhood.
There are such places of historic interest and scenic beauty as Tai Bai Hall and Yunyan Temple. In the Yunyan Temple, there is a Cakravarti made of nanmu wood in the shape of a wooden pagoda on which the Sutrapitaka were carved. It can be turned round and round easily, a relic rarely seen in China.
