Huangyaguan Great Wall is situated in Jixian Country, 120 km away from Tianjin.and stands just in the middle of the Beijing, Tianjin, Tangshan and Chengde. Being 41 km in length, it is a section of the Great Wall, which is less known for foreigners. The Huangyaguan Great Wall was originally built in 557 and rebuilt with a new design when Qijiguang, a Chinese famous general was the chief of military of Jixian in the Ming Dynasty. Huangyaguan Great Wall is one section of the Great Wall, but has different features with those in Beijing. Annually, the International Marathon Race is held here.
Huangyaguan Great Wall can be reached by car or by bus from Tianjin City.
