The area of Shek O is not big, the local-style dwelling horses, however, vary from one to another in striking elegant and graceful manner, each of which witnesses the great changes of each era. Guests who feel fondly a great nostalgia for the past times may walk leisurely through the allies back and forth looking for the past feelings.
There is an isle Dai Tou Isle at the end of the Skek O which is linked with a suspension bridge. There are two scenic spots namely Kuen Lan Tau and Kai Shek. If you are not afraid of howling wind and stormy rain, it will be best to choose a windy day to watch the white wave after wave rolling up with the wind, one higher than the other. What a magnificent breath-taking sight. Because of the erosion by the waves over a long period of time, the rocks appear to be lofty and steep of every description, canyons, precipices, shoals and grotesque rocks and so on. It is a great pleasure to take a careful look at them while strolling along the coast.
