Splendid China with an area of more than 315,000 square meters is one of the largest and most elaborate miniature scenery parks in the world. Its rich, lively and comprehensive miniature scenic area reflects the history, culture, art, ancient architecture as well as the customs and habits of various nationalities in China. It is divided into two parts: a Scenic Spot Area and a Comprehensive Service Area. Over 100 major tourist attractions, most of which are reduced in a scale of 1 to 15, stand here. The Theme Park is laid out according to the map of China.
In Scenic Spot Area, there are many World Firsts, for instance, Zhaozhou Bridge, the world's oldest stone bridge; the Imperial Palace and Leshan Grand Buddha, the world's biggest palace and Buddha statue; Yuanmingying, the largest imperial garden; Dunhuang Mogao Grottos, the world's longest fresco; Potala Palace, the world's most splendid Buddhist building; the Stone Forest, the world's most wonderful karst landscape; Huangguoshu Falls, one of the world's biggest waterfalls.
In Splendid China exhibit, there are some other well-known sights: the solemn and dignified Huangdi Tomb, the Mausoleum of Genghis Kan, the Ming Tombs, Dr. Sun Yat-sen's Mausoleum, the respondent and magnificent Confucious Temple, the Temple of Heaven, the imposing, majestic Taishan Mountain, the precipitous, gracefull Three Gorges of the Yangzi River, the picturesque and marvelous view of the Lijiang River, the West Lake of Hangzhou, the Wangshi Garden of Suzhou and other beautiful scenery of Southern China, the famous pagodas, temples, towers and grottos with infinite variety of beauty and local houses with rich and colorful customs of each of the Chinese nationalities.
In this garden, there are cars and trains to transport visitors around the park and make it possible to visit all the attractions here in one day.
