Beijing is the capital city of China. It is
the political, economic and cultural centre with historic legacy in China. A number
of Chinese emperors of many dynasties established their palaces here. In
addition, about 24 crown nobles took power and became emperors in Beijing. Major
improvements to the city were carried out during the Ming dynasty and Qing
dynasty. The wonderful palaces, the Great Wall, the wide Tiananmen
Square, the beautiful imperial gardens, the secluded temples and
the great Ming tomb all reflect the imperial momentum. Beijing is the host city of the Olympic
Games in 2008. The best time of the year to tour Beijing is during the autumn months, when
the climate is at its best and the sceneries most enjoyable.
Xian, one of the six
famous ancient capitals in China,
has retained its cultural heritage, historic sites and its graceful bearing
till today. The Forest
of Stone Tablets, the
City Wall In Ming dynasty, the First Qin Emperor's Terra-cotta Warriors and
Horses are all renowned.
