the foot of the hills, Lantau Island offers a pleasant respite from the
city's diurnal noises. Tour Schedule: Pick-up at designated
hotels between 8:00 am - 8:45 am Itinerary You will then be taken
through winding roads to Cheung Sha beach where the waters kissing white sand
stretches all it way across the coast forming a lovely picture. Back on the roads, you
will head for Tai O to have a walking tour of this old fishing Village. Tour then climbs its
way tortuously up to Po Lin Monastery. The Great Bronze Buddha Statue is just
adjacent to the monastery and perched on the Ngong Ping Plateau. Tourists are given the
chance of entering into the Ngong Ping Village. You will enjoy a
Chinese-style vegetarian lunch in the monastery. You will leave Ngong
Ping by the Skyrail and then join the Tung Chung Mass Transit Railway (MTR)
