SHEKOU is located in the southern part of Nantau Peninsula, and an important part of Shenzhen which is named the first Special Economic Zone of China. Newadays Shekou has become one of the city's major scenic spots drawing for tourists.

 

Tour Schedule:
Daily Morning Departure
Duration: Approx. 11 hours (not include hotel pick up time)
Pick up by bus at designated hotels at around 6:40 -7:05a.m. (Actual pick-up time will be given at the time of reservation)


Itinerary
Kindergarten:
Enjoy an unusual experience of visiting a local kindergarten. Kindergarten is closed on Saturdays, Sunday and school holidays. (It will be replaced by THE LEGEND OF NUWA. NUWA is the goddess of creation in China and the state of NUWA is also the landmark of Shekou city - THE LEGEND OF NUWA is one of the First Chinese Gods with a lower body of dragon. Her most famous Myth is she was in charge of making humans, so she got clay and began of hand mold the humans out of clay.)

Free Market:
Visit one of the markets in Shekou, have an insight of local people's bargaining power in food markets.

Mineral Museum:
Appreciate some hand-crafts products and get more knowledge about geologic mineral. In the museum, you can see the World famous Terra-cotta warriors; these priceless relics have been loaned from the famous excavation site in Xian.

Reflex Foot Massage (45 minutes):
Reflex foot massage has been practiced by people of eastern cultures for over 4000 years. It can rejuvenate your body and help relieve many discomforts.

After the reflex massage, lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Thereafter, approximately 2 hours will be spent in either one of the theme parks, a) SPENDID CHINA & CHINA FOLK CULTURE VILLAGE or b) WINDOW OF THE WORLD for entertainment.

Splendid China:
Splendid China is an amazing place reflecting China's 5,000 years of history and culture. Build in miniature are more than a hundreds of China's scenic wonders and historical monuments.

China Folk Culture Village:
Next to Splendid China are the China Folk Cultural Villages which reflecting China's traditional culture and customs. The architecture and scenic wonders of the many tribed and ethic groups inhabiting China's cast and carried landscape.

Window of The World:
The Window of the World covers 480,000 sq. meters. This theme park divided into 9 areas, a total of 118 of the worlds most famous monuments and scenic such as the Grand Canyon, Mt. Rushmore National Memorial, the Niagara Falls and the Pyramids and Sphinx of Egypt.

After visiting the theme park, we will reach the Pier for ferry departure, then transfer safely back to hotel.

1. Order should be placed by email to OrientalTravel.com at least 3 days before departure date of the tour that you wish to take.

2. If you wish to change your tour, you must inform OrientalTravel.com 2 days before your departure date. Delayed notice will result in extra charge accordingly.

3. Payment includes tour only and no refund for no show or after order confirmation.

4. No notice will be given prior to the alteration of the routing. The tour operator reserves the rights to alter or cancel the routing in the event of any adverse conditions.

5. In case of cancellation made by the tour operator due to typhoon or any other undesirable conditions, full payment will be refunded.

6. Should the itinerary or means of transportation be changed or the tour prolonged due to any unforeseen circumstances, no extra expenses will be borne by the tour operator or OrientalTravel.com.

7. The tour operator and OrientalTravel.com have no responsibility for personal injury during the tour or the loss or damage of personal property.
