Kowloon means "Nine Dragons" and it is commonly believed that the Nine Dragons lie on the hills that form the backbone of this area sandwiched between the Victoria Harbour and the New Territories.

Sai Kung is sometimes called "Hong Kong's Hidden Garden". Characterized by Mediterranean-style houses and villas, the waterfront offers watersport centers, a wide variety of restaurants as well as beautiful beaches.

Itinerary
The tour will first take you past the picturesque Sung Wong Toi Garden where the Sung Dynasty's first emperor once visited.

Old Kai Tak Airport Runway
The Kai Tak International Airport was once a busy and challenging airport of pilots on Hong Kong-bond flights. Enjoy the spectacular views of the "dragons" (ridges) and Victoria Harbour from the runway of the old Kai Tak Airport.

Sai Kung
Sai Kung is a small rural town offering a delightful blend of traditional charm and modern appeal. It has become a popular place for sea-food and water sports for local people.

Wong Tai Sin Temple
The temple plays host to more than three million visitors every year. Its red pillars, two-tired golden roof, yellow lattice-work and multi-coloured carvings provide a startling contrast to the surrounding local government housing estates.

Bird Garden
Where you will be able to see hundred of birds are on sales. The prices, which often reveal the birds singing abilities, are valued more than the exquisite plumage weather.

Hong Kong Museum of History
This museum showcases Hong Kong's broad and dynamic history. The exhibition outlines the historical development of Hong Kong with the dramatic use of panoramic screens, dioramas and interactive programmes.
(As the Hong Kong Museum of History closes on Tuesday, we will visit the Chi Lin Nunnery instead)

Chi Lin Nunnery
Chi Lin Nunnery is the largest timber complex in the world. This Buddhist complex uses Tang Dynasty style architecture and is built in a traditional, balanced seven-hall design.
