Itinerary:

Duration: 9 nights/10 days

Day 1: Beijing (//)

Arrive Beijing, meet your guide and transfer to your hotel.

Accommodation: Cici Friendship hotel Beijing or similar

Day 2: Beijing/Lhasa (B/D)

After breakfast, transfer you to airport for flight to Lhasa: CA4112（0910/1420）

Upon arrival at Lhasa, we travel to our hotel in Lhasa (100km; 1.5hrs).  In the afternoon we suggest you taking enough rest so as to become acclimatized to the high altitude.

Accommodation: Lhasa Hotel Lhasa (4 star) or similar

Day 3: Lhasa (B/L/D)

This morning we begin our visit to the Potala Palace, home of the Dalai Lama with 10,000 many rooms, including the study of the now exiled Dalai Lama and darkened halls and frescoes lit by glimmering buffer lamps with their acrid smell which visitors always associate with Tibet.  After Lunch, our visit continues to Dazhao Temple and Bajiao Street, a famous free market offering local products with Tibet style. 

Accommodation: same as above (Day 2).

Day4: Lhasa (B/L/D)

Today we will visit the Yamdrok Lake, with the Himalayas as a backdrop.  We will pass through the 5,000m kambala pass, before traveling through Gyantse and arriving in the evening at Sigatse - the second major city of Tibet.

Accommodation: YaLu Zangbu hotel, a 4 star Hotel or similar.

Day 5: Sigatse/Gyantse/Sigatse (B/L/D)

Sightseeing the Baiju Temple and the Shiwan Tower, then visit the Thshi Lhumpo Temple.  It is 180km round way.

Day 6: Sigatse/Lhasa (B/L/D)

Transfer you to Lhasa.  It is 280km in distance.

Accommodation: Lhasa Hotel Lhasa (4 star) or similar

Day 7: Lhasa (B/L/D)

Visit the Norbulingka - the former summer palace – in the afternoon.

Accommodation: Lhasa Hotel Lhasa (4 star) or similar

Day 8: Lhasa/Xining (B//)

Transfer you to Lhasa train station for Xining. Take T28 (08:00/09:30 +1 day) & (09:32/11:00 +1 day)

Accommodation: On the train

Day 9: Xining (/L/D)

9:30 AM: Arrive Xining, transfer you to hotel to have a rest.

In the afternoon, sightsee Tu national minority village, enjoy their Dance (Anzhou Wu) and taste their local food.  The village is 50km away from Xining.

Accommodation: Qinghai Hotel (4 star) or similar

Day 10: Xining/Shanghai (B/L/D)

Transfer you to Xining airport for flight MU2153（13:25/17:35）to Shanghai.

This tour is a private tour and departure date will be based on your request. Prices depend on travel seasons and will be quoted upon request.

Low Season: December to April, June, July, August, 15-30 November.

High Season: May, September, October, 1-15 November.
