Xian, known as Chang'an in ancient times, is a famous city with a time-honored culture. As a city, it has a history of more than 3,000 years. Beginning from the 11th century B.C, it served intermittently as the capital of 11 dynasties, including the Zhou, Qin, Han and Tang dynasties, for altogether 1,000 years, longer than any ancient capitals in China. A metropolitan as famous as Rome, Xi'an used to be China's political, economic and culture center and the starting point of the "Silk Road".

This tour is a private tour and departure date will be based on your request. Prices depend on travel seasons and will be quoted upon request.

Low Season: December to April, June, July, August, 15-30 November.

High Season: May, September, October, 1-15 November.

Travel Tips:
No.610 special Bus line will stop at some main tour attractions in the city: Qin Imperial Palace, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, History Museum, Bell Tower, which is your best choice for city tour.

To go to Qin Terra- Cotta Warriors and Horses, take No.306 or 307 Sightseeing bus.

Tang's songs and dances are one of a worth-going evening entertainment.

Suggested Routes: 2 nights and 3 days

Day 1 Half day city tour: City wall, Forest of Steles, Big Wild Goose Pagoda.

Day 2 Whole day tour to Qin Terra- Cotta Warriors and Horses, Huaqing Pools.

Day 3 Half day tour: Shaanxi Province Museum.
