Day 01:
Beijing
Our guide will pick you up at Beijing airport and transfer to the hotel.
The rest of the day is on your own to explore the city.
Day 02: Beijing/ Datong

Today
we take you for a stroll in the world largest Tiananmen Square
which is bordered by the Great Hall of the People and Chinese History
Museum, with Mao's Mausoleum opposite Tiananmen, the Gate of Heavenly
Peace. Then we go to the Forbidden City, a complex of imperial
palaces and the home to the emperors for over 500 years. Some of the grand
halls have been used as museums for fine collections of Chinese paintings
and calligraphy and other treasured articles. Then visit the Summer
Palace, where the emperors used to live during summer to escape the
heat.
Take the overnight soft
berth train to Datong.
Day 03: Datong (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Transfer you to the hotel. Visit the Yungang Grottoes, with
their 252 caves and 51,000 statues represent the outstanding achievement
of Buddhist cave art in China in the 5th and 6th centuries. Visit the Huayan Monastery, one of the biggest
temples in China, which remains a major Monastery of the Huayan sect, a
sub-category of the Buddhism popular in north China, its splendid ancient
buildings were constructed of wood during the Liao Dynast more than nine
hundred years ago. Visit
Shanhua Monastery and the Nine Dragon Screen.
Day 04: Datong/ Beijing
(Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Full day tour to Sakyamuni Wooden Pagoda at Fuoguang Temple in
Yingxian County, which is the oldest and highest wooden
structure in China and with about 900 years of history is regarded as the "First
Pagoda in the World" and a gem in the architectural field. It has now
also been placed under national emphases under the Cultural Relics
Protection Units.
Take the overnight soft berth
train back to Beijing.
Day 05: Beijing
(Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Arrive in Beijing in the morning. Transfer to the hotel.
Full
day excursion to the Great Wall,it is one of the most amazing feats
of human labor - a great man-made construction in China. Then visit the Ming
Tombs, the ones deceased emperors of the Ming Dynasty.
The Beijing Duck Dinner and the Peking Opera are served in the
evening.
Day 06: Beijing
(Breakfast//)
Visit the Temple of
Heaven, an
exquisite example of Ming architecture, where the emperors performed the
annual rites believed to be essential to the well-being of the nation.
End of the service.
