Huangshan (Mt. Huangshan) is the name of
the 72-peak range lying in the south of Anhui Province. As the most famous scenic
spot of China,
the area has steep peaks washed by a "sea of clouds", beautiful
water falls, jagged rocks, and numerous pine trees with different styles. Mt. Huangshan is listed in the
world natural heritage list and the cultural heritage list.
Suzhou and Hangzhou are two well-known cities of China with
beautiful scenery and rich culture. A famous ancient proverb say: "In
heaven there is Paradise, on earth there are Suzhou and Hangzhou".
This means that Suzhou
and Hangzhou
are the finest and the most splendid places in the world.
Shanghai is the hustling commercial heart of China, known as the "Paris of the East"
Tour Schedule :
Day 1: To be picked up at Beijing
airport and go to hotel.
Day 2: Morning tour to the
Imperial Palace, known as the Forbidden City, one of the greatest
feats of ancient Chinese architecture, Temple of Heaven where the
emperors prayed for good harvest and Cloisonne
Factory. Afternoon sightseeing Summer Palace - a former summer
resort area of the royal family.
Day 3: Full day excursion
to the Great Wall - the landmark of China. It is one of the most
amazing feats of heats of human labor, it is a great
man-made construction in China.
After lunch, a drive to the Ming Tombs along the Sacred Way with giant marble figures
and animals guarding the tomb area for deceased emperors of the Ming Dynasty.
Welcome Beijing Duck Banquet in the evening.
Day 4: Fly to Huangshan, stay in Huangshan
International Hotel. In the afternoon, visit the "Song City",
which is an ancient and bustling street well preserved in China.
Day 5: Sightseeing the Huangshan scenic area, you will take the
longest cableway in Asia to reach the West
Sea Scenic Area, enjoying the stone paths of Rosy Cloud Peak and the
beautiful sunsetting. Stay at West Sea Hotel or a
hotel with the same quality on the top of the mountain.
Day 6: Morning you have to
get up early to hike to for the marvelous sunrise if weather permits. Then
continue to walk to the Flying Stone. After lunch, get down mountain
by cable car.
Day 7: After breakfast, go
to Thousand-Island
Lake scenic area,
which has 1078 islands in the lake. Then go to Hangzhou.
Day 8: Full day tour to the Hubao Spring, the Lingyin
Monastery and the Liuhe Pagoda.
Day 9: Sightseeing the West Lake scenic area and the Tomb
of Yue Fei.
Day10: Go to Suzhou and visit the Surging Waves, the Lion
Cave Grove, the Humble Administration-Administrators Garden, the Garden
to Linger In, all well preserved, which are masterpieces of the Suzhou Gardening Art. Then, sightseeing Tiger Hill and Hanshan
Temple.
Day 11: Go to Shanghai and visit Yuyuan Gardens,
the Temple of
the Town Gods (Chenghuangmiao); in the
evening go to the Bund.
Day12: Check out after
breakfast. Transportation escort to the airport.
