Beijing is the capital of
China. It is the center of politics, economic and culture in China. In
China history, a lot of dynasties took this city as the capital city. And
about 24 crown nobles became the emperors in Beijing. Among them, the Ming
dynasty and Qing dynasty paid more attention to build this city, such that
Beijing was developed as the real capital city. The wonderful palaces, the
Great Wall, the wide Tiananmen Square, the beautiful imperial gardens, the
secluded temples and the great Ming tomb all reflect the imperial
momentum.
Tour Schedule:
Day 1: Arrival (//)
Arrive Beijing.
Meet and transfer to Poly Plaza Hotel (4*) or similar hotel for 4 nights.
In the afternoon, take a tour of Temple of Heaven where the
emperors prayed for good harvest.
Day 2: Beijing (B/L/D) = Breakfast, Lunch &
Dinner
Morning tour to Tiananmen Square, located in the heart of
the capital, and the Imperial Palace, known as the Forbidden
City, one of the greatest feats of ancient Chinese architecture.
Afternoon sightseeing includes Beihai Park which is the oldest
ancient imperial garden in Chinese history and the Lama Temple,
also known as palace of Eternal Harmony lamasery in
Beijing.
Acrobatics Show in the evening.
Day 3: Beijing (B/L/) = Breakfast, and Lunch
Full day
excursion to the Great Wall - the landmark of China. It is one of
the most amazing feats of heats of human labor - a great man-made
structure in China. After lunch, a drive to the Ming Tombs along
the Sacred Way with giant marble figures and animals guarding the tomb
area for deceased emperors of the Ming Dynasty.
Day 4: Beijing (B/L/D) = Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Morning tour to the Summer Palace - a former summer resort area
of the royal family. After lunch, Hutong tour which are old local
residence including a visit to Drum Tower, Prince Gong's Residential
Quarter.
Peking Duck Dinner in the evening.
Day 5: Beijing (B/ /)
Check out after breakfast,
transportation escort to the airport.
